Why we built this
Most phone comparison sites in Pakistan look the same: a wall of banner ads, a "Top 10" list that happens to feature whoever paid for placement that month, and specification tables buried three clicks deep behind a review nobody asked for. Finding a straight answer to "how much RAM does this phone have" or "is the battery actually bigger than my current phone's" often takes longer than it should.
GadgetsPie started from a simpler premise: put the spec sheet on the page itself, make it filterable and comparable without an account or a download, and keep the site fast enough that checking a phone's battery capacity doesn't take thirty seconds to load. Everything on this site is built around that one job — helping you compare phones on facts, not features lists written by whoever sells the most units.
What you'll find here
Every phone listed on GadgetsPie has a full specification sheet — display, chipset, camera, battery, body dimensions, and connectivity — organized the same way across every listing so you can actually compare like for like. The compare tool lets you put two or three phones side by side and see exactly where they differ, with the bigger gaps highlighted automatically rather than buried in a table you have to read line by line.
Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees and reflect what we've recorded at the time each page was last updated. Phone prices in Pakistan move with import duty changes and currency fluctuation more than most markets, so we treat the price on any given page as a reference point rather than a guarantee — always worth checking with a local retailer before you buy, and we say as much directly on each phone's page.
How we compile specifications
The specifications on GadgetsPie are compiled from publicly available manufacturer information — official spec sheets, press materials, and retail listings. We do not scrape or republish another website's compiled database; every entry here has been independently written and organized for this site. If you ever spot a number that looks off, we genuinely want to hear about it — see our editorial policy for exactly how we handle corrections, or just reach out through the contact page.
Some of the descriptive text on phone pages — the "Overview" section you'll see under the spec table — is generated from the phone's actual recorded data rather than written fresh for every single model by hand. We say this plainly because we'd rather be upfront about it than have you wonder: the numbers it references (battery capacity versus the site average, price positioning within a brand's lineup, and so on) are computed from the real database behind this site, not invented. As the catalog grows, we're gradually replacing this with hand-written editorial for the phones people care about most.
Who's behind GadgetsPie
GadgetsPie is an independently run, Pakistan-based project. It isn't backed by a phone manufacturer, a retailer, or an ad network's editorial team — nobody pays for a better position on a comparison page here, and there's no "sponsored" listing that looks like an organic result. If that ever changes for any part of the site, we'll label it clearly rather than let it blend in.
The site is small by design right now. Rather than trying to cover every phone ever released on day one, we're building out the catalog deliberately — well-specified entries for the phones people are actually searching for and comparing, with more added regularly.
What GadgetsPie isn't
We're not a retailer — you can't buy a phone through this site, and we don't take a cut if you buy one elsewhere after visiting. We're not a review outlet in the traditional sense either; you won't find a five-paragraph hands-on impression of camera quality here, because nobody on this team has physically tested every phone in the database, and we'd rather not pretend otherwise. What we do claim to offer is accurate, comparable, well-organized specifications and a genuinely useful tool for putting two phones side by side.
How the comparison tool decides what to highlight
When you compare two phones on GadgetsPie, some rows get a small marker showing which phone "wins" that particular spec. That marker only appears where it's genuinely meaningful — battery capacity, megapixels, charging wattage, storage, weight, and similar numeric specs where "higher" or "lower" has an unambiguous, objective answer. Chipset names, GPU model numbers, and Bluetooth versions are deliberately left unmarked, because treating a "Snapdragon 8 Gen 3" as somehow mathematically less than an "A18 Pro" just because of the digits in the name would be meaningless, not helpful. We'd rather show you the raw information and let you draw the conclusion than manufacture a false sense of precision.
This attention to what's actually comparable, versus what only looks comparable, is the same principle behind the rest of the site. A phone with more RAM isn't automatically "better" for your use case, and a bigger battery doesn't matter much if you're never far from a charger. Our job is to lay the numbers out clearly; the trade-offs that matter to you are yours to weigh.
